Who We Are

Cherry & Co. is a public relations firm that builds, enhances and repairs organizations' reputations from our headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee.  We are certified by the City of Memphis and Shelby County as both a WBE and LOSB.  

 

Our founder and CEO, Kim Cherry, is a lifelong Memphian who understands how to build reputational capital and get business done.  In more than 30 years as a public relations professional she has developed extensive expertise in media relations counseling and strategy, employee engagement, internal and external communications, crisis communications and community engagement strategy.  Under her executive leadership at First Horizon Corp. she championed work/family programs that earned the company recognition as one of the nation’s best employers by BusinessWeek, Forbes, Fortune, AARP, American Banker and Working Mother.

She earned leadership roles in national trade organizations and accolades as one of the top PR practitioners and female executives in Memphis.  She has served as a director on numerous nonprofit boards and is a graduate of the New Memphis Institute and Leadership Memphis.  She earned her Accreditation in Public Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in communication arts from Rhodes College.  She completed the Leadership and Strategic Impact program through Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth and is completing her thesis for a Master’s in strategic communication through the University of Missouri School of Journalism.
